Matter On The Adjournment

  • Two Matters: Two matters were raised on the Motion for the Adjournment. Senator Charrise Seepersad raised "the need for the Government to appoint a District Registrar with suitable accommodation and adequate personnel, to resume the registering of births and deaths in the Port-of-Spain and Environs District." The Attorney General responded.
    Senator Wade Mark then raised "the failure of the Government to table the recently signed contract between Austal Limited and the Government of Trinidad and Tobago for the purchase of the two Cape Class Patrol Vessels." The Minister in the Ministry of the Attorney General and Legal Affairs responded.
