Motions Relating To The Business Or Sittings Of The House And Moved By A Minister Or Parliamentary Secretary

  • Two Motions: The Leader of the House moved a motion that with immediate effect, the Member for Oropouche East, Dr. Roodal Moonilal, no longer serve on the JSC on National Security. With 17 votes for, 13 votes against and no abstentions, the motion was carried.
    She also moved that an extension be granted to the JSC on the Cannabis Control Bill, 2019 in order for the Committee to complete its work and submit a final report by April 30, 2020. The motion was approved.

Matter On The Adjournment
